So, I built a different kind of company—one where the consumer comes first, always. My specialty is using data, math, and real-world strategy to turn mortgages into wealth-building tools instead of debt traps.
I was raised by immigrant parents who left their Fijian roots behind to give their kids a shot at something better. They taught me honesty, sacrifice, and hard work—values I carried into my career when I started in mortgage banking back in 2001. I’ve done it all: underwriting, sales management, corporate strategy, analytics, technology, and ultimately launching my own mortgage company. That broad experience gave me a clear perspective: most of the industry sells products, not solutions.
I earned my MBA in Advanced Finance from the University of Detroit Mercy, but my real education came from watching families like mine—people with modest incomes—turn their first home into nearly a million dollars of net worth. That’s the power of strategy, not luck. And that’s what drives me every day.
At home, I’ve been married since 2005, and I’m lucky to be a dad to two amazing kids (plus our Havanese, Max). We recharge by heading Up North, playing heated rounds of Uno, and exploring new towns and their stories.
Here’s my belief: mortgages should serve people, not the other way around. Families deserve better than being treated like a transaction, shoved into debt, and left without a plan.
